St Anne Parish (Talne)
Talne · Patronal feast: 26 July
About the parish
St Anne’s Church was built in 1702, with Potocki as its benefactor.
In 1910–1911, Serhii Dovhorukyi restored the church. It remained open until 1927.
When the communist authorities came to power, the church was confiscated. It initially stood empty and was later used as a mineral fertiliser warehouse.
After the war, the church housed a poultry hatchery for almost thirty years, followed by the district newspaper’s printing works for another decade or so.
At the parishioners’ request, the church was returned to the faithful in 1992.
On 26 July 1999, Auxiliary Bishop Stanislav Shyrokoradiuk rededicated the church.
