St Anne Parish (Malyn)

About the parish
The parish was founded in 1784. A hundred years later, a masonry church was built and blessed by Bishop Lobovidzkyi. It has survived to the present day. The Soviet authorities kept the church closed from 1935 to 1992. Initially, it housed an NKVD prison and later a sports school gymnasium.
In 1992, the church was returned to the faithful.
Bishop Jan Purwiński dedicated the church on 26 July, the parish’s patronal feast.
