About the parish
Zarudyntsi, a village in the Zhytomyr region known since 1651, has around a thousand residents, some of whom are of Polish descent.
In the 2010s, a temporary chapel was established in an ordinary village house to meet the needs of the local Catholic community. On 25 May 2013, Archbishop Petro Malchuk blessed a cross erected on the site intended for a permanent church.
