Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish (Novyi Zavod)

On 11 April 1905, the landowner Karol Schlenker donated land for the church, and the cornerstone was laid by Fr Vikentii Rubikas, pastor of Pulyny, and Fr Jan Zagurskyi, inspector of the Zhytomyr seminary.

In 1906, the church was blessed by Fr Valerian Hromadskyi, honorary canon of Olyka, and belonged to the Pulyny parish. On 3 December 1910, it began functioning as an independent parish within the Novohrad-Volynskyi Deanery. The independence of Novyi Zavod Parish was officially confirmed on 1 January 1911. Its first pastor was Fr Mykolai Paslovskyi. On 20 October 1915, the parish had 8,751 parishioners and was served by Fr Mykolai Strusevych. In 1935, the church was closed and converted into a village community hall.

The church reopened in 1941, with Fr Roman Yankovskyi as pastor.

After the war, priests from Zhytomyr and Berdychiv served the parish. Major repairs were carried out in 1989 under Fr Oleksandr Milevskyi. In 1990, Pallottine Fathers began travelling from Zhytomyr to celebrate services. On 17 December 1999, Fr Kazimierz Trypuś SAC was appointed pastor, serving until 1 July 2014.

The parish was served by the Pallottine Fathers.

Since 1 July 2014, its pastor has been the diocesan priest Fr Andrii Yakhymovych. In 2017, the church was renovated and work began on a chapel in honour of Our Lady and an outdoor Way of the Cross beside the church.
